Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton is gearing up for a day on the links to raise money for its build program.
The second annual Raising Walls Fore Habitat Classic is scheduled to take place on Friday at Kingswell Golf Club in Petrolia.
Habitat CEO David Waters said there are only a few more spots open for foursomes.
It costs $550 per group and includes 18 holes with a cart and lunch.
Golfers who register for the Build Bundle will also receive an orange ball for the team challenge, as well as tickets to participate in the putting and chip in challenges, raffle prizes, and 50/50 draw. Those interested can register at habitatsarnia.org/golf.
Waters said multiple build projects take place throughout the year.
"Currently we're building two homes in Forest and then we're completing a home on Davis [Street] so we've got three homes on the go. We actually just finished two in May on College [Avenue] as well so it's been a busy year for us," said Waters. "The need has been great. Our waitlist continues to grow."
The inaugural event was held last year after it was originally scheduled to take place in 2020.
