Over 50 vendors will be set up in Sarnia's Centennial Park on Saturday, August 13.
The inaugural Shop the Shoreline will feature crafters, makers, artists, food vendors and things for the kids.
Organizer Cindy Scholten said the event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. along the park's pathway.
"It's basically a shopping event to support small businesses," said Scholten, the owner Edge Wood Décor. "Inflatables for the kids will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It's a free entry, we just ask that a small donation of people's choice go towards the Kinsmen."
Scholten said the club has been working really hard over the years to support over 30 different local charities.
"Service clubs and things like Kinsmen have really been having a tough time over the last couple of years with the pandemic, so if they're hurting that means all the rest of the charities are hurting."
Scholten said she has over 15 years of experience hosting events for not-for-profits.
"So, when I became a small business owner, I decided to host these events to support my fellow makers and crafters, and to support really the small businesses of communities."
Scholten said she'll be joined by Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey and MP Marilyn Gladu for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
