Sarnia firefighters battled a blaze Tuesday morning on Garrison Gate off of Blackwell Road.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue responded along with Sarnia police and Lambton EMS to a structure fire just after 7 a.m.
Crews from the nearby Telfer Road firehall spotted the smoke and called it in.
Fire Life Safety Educator Mike Otis said firefighters arrived to visible flames and heavy smoke.

"Four stations responded to this just because of the size of the fire," said Otis. "We actually had more than our standard three station response and we had a fourth station come by."
The lone occupant, an adult male, was taken to Bluewater Health for treatment for possible smoke inhalation.
Sarnia Fire released an update on Wednesday following its investigation and said the cause of the fire will be listed as undetermined.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
