End of summer cleanup at Ipperwash Beach

Volunteers are invited to help keep the Lake Huron shoreline clean.

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA), along with support from the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, is holding the 10th annual 'End of Summer' Beach Cleanup at Ipperwash Beach.

The garbage cleanup on Saturday is on from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. along the beach and Parkway Drive.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the boat launch at the end of Ipperwash Road. You're also reminded to wear close-toed shoes, a hat and gloves.

In the past, anywhere from 50 to 100 pounds of trash was collected.

Those who wish to help out are asked to RSVP to jvanzwol@scrca.on.ca
