Sarnia man wanted on federal warrant charged with drug trafficking

Drug trafficking charges have been laid against three Sarnia men, including one individual wanted on an outstanding Federal Parole Warrant.

The Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit was investigating a 32-year-old man for alleged drug trafficking.  On Friday, September 9, at around 9:45 a.m. near Christina Street and Errol Road, police conducted a traffic stop of the suspect and two other occupants.

After arresting the three men, police located 19.2 grams of cocaine in the vehicle, worth roughly $2,300.  Police also seized $4,410 in the possession of the 32-year-old suspect.

Police charged Ryan Dionne with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, three counts of breaching a court order, and his federal parole warrant was executed by the Sarnia Police Vice Unit.

The driver of the motor vehicle, 33-year-old Justin Dionne, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and driving while suspended under the Highway Traffic Act.

Brennan Erdodi, 36, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Cst. John Sottosanti said drug addiction is a significant concern in the City of Sarnia and police will continue to prioritize enforcement against those who distribute illegal substances in the community.
