The Sarnia Police Service is continuing to gather input from the public as it works on a three-year business plan.
The service wants to hear what the biggest concerns are for residents and what areas need work.
Police Chief Derek Davis said the first town-hall session was well attended and he was very pleased with how the session went.
"There were also some people representing various interest groups which was great," said Davis. "Our objective really is to take that community feedback across the diverse demographics of the city and feed that information into what is ultimately the Sarnia Police Service Board's business plan. That is the guiding document for me as the chief that guides our operational and resourcing requests over the next three years."
The next town hall meeting is set for Saturday, September 17 at the Strangway Centre, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Davis said residents can also e-mail what they think the priorities should be for the police organization at businessplan@police.sarnia.on.ca, and they're also planning to launch an online community survey in the very near future.
Police services across Ontario are required to prepare a business plan at least every three years, according to the provincial government.
