Over 4,000 votes cast in Sarnia election so far

Just over eight per cent of eligible voters in Sarnia have cast their ballot through online voting in the municipal election.

The City of Sarnia said in a news release Monday, that as of 4 p.m. a total of 4,330 electors had cast their vote in the first four days of the advance poll.

Online voting continues until polls close at 8 p.m. Monday, October 24.

The City of Sarnia is operating a voter help centre on the first floor of City Hall until Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It will also be set up on election day from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Eligible voters can cast their ballot online at voting kiosks and receive assistance if needed.

You can also confirm that you're on the voters list, be added to the list, have a lost voter information letter replaced or have the information on it corrected.

Residents can also call the help centre at 1-877-472-7642 for election related support.

In-person voting will also be offered, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at nine locations across the city on October 24.
