No residents or livestock were injured in a barn fire in St. Clair Township Sunday morning.
Fire Chief Richard Boyes said crews responded to the 800 block of Holt Line at around 8:15 a.m.
"Upon arrival the crews found that [the unoccupied barn] was fully engulfed and had collapsed," he said. "There was no livestock, no injuries to any residents or firefighters."
Boyes said the cause of the blaze is undetermined and damage is estimated at $75,000.
"We had to bring in an excavator to remove a large quantity of hay, and the tanker shuttle was established and the crews left the scene at 2 p.m."
