Environment Canada has ended the winter weather travel advisory for north and east Lambton county.
According to the weather agency, Local heavy flurries and snow squalls developed off of Lake Huron were expected to continue into Sunday afternoon.
Forecasters were calling for snowfall amounts up to 10 cm.
Residents travelling east along Highway 402, a winter weather travel advisory is still in effect for London-Middlesex.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution as some roads and highways may become snow covered and slippery.
