Sarnia’s New Year’s baby was born just two minutes after midnight on New Year's Day.
Zoey Wallace, the first child to be born at Bluewater Health in 2023, is a second child for Sarah and Micah Wallace.
Zoey's due date was January 19, "So she's a little early," said Micah. "The delivery went well and she came just after midnight."
Zoey has a big brother, who is only 11 months old, waiting for her arrival home.
"Mom and baby are feeling good, just resting at this point. We're taking it moment by moment," said Micah. "I know there's lots of family looking forward to meeting her."
The family thanks Bluewater Health for the "great care" they received throughout their time at the hospital.
