Sarnia News Today's top 10 stories in 2022

Protests, impaired driving, and a lottery win made up the top three most viewed stories on Sarnia News Today's website in 2022.

A list of the top 10 most viewed stories has been compiled after searching through analytics from January 1, 2022, to December 30, 2022.

The story that received the most clicks was about truck protests that were expected to impact traffic in Sarnia-Lambton. A slow-moving truck convoy was scheduled to take place in January 2022.

Some who participated in local demonstrations later travelled to Ottawa, in what would eventually become an occupation that spanned multiple weeks. Two other convoy-related stories posted to Sarnia News Today's website were just shy of making it into the top 10 list.

The second most viewed story was about a man who allegedly drove to work while impaired.

On a lighter note, the third most viewed story was about a group of friends who won a Lotto Max prize of $1 million. A Sarnia man was among five co-workers to win the prize.
