City police make second appeal for information in shooting investigation

The Sarnia Police Service is making another appeal to the public for information and video footage following a shooting last week.

Officers were called to a residence in the area of Proctor Street and Talfourd Street on Friday, March 24, at around 2:30 a.m. and found a woman who had been shot when they arrived.

In an update Thursday, police said the female victim remains in hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is asking anyone with security cameras, dash cam video, or information related to the incident to contact them at 519-344-8861 ext. 5300, or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police reiterated that they believed it was a "targeted and isolated incident with no additional safety concerns to the public."
