Sting open playoffs with shutout win over Storm

The Sarnia Sting are off to a good start in the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.

The Sting shutout the Guelph Storm 5-0 Friday night at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

It's the first 1-0 series lead for the Sting since 2015.

Nolan Dillingham scored his first career playoff goal in the first period.

Ben Gaudreau strengthened the 1-0 lead with some stops in the second period, which lead to a breakaway goal by Nolan Burke.

Marcus Limpar-Lantz followed up with his first career playoff goal for a 3-0 lead.
