You can now borrow binoculars from the Lambton County Library.
Public Services Coordinator Kevin Coates said they have added ten sets to the Active Living Lifestyle collection that can be loaned to cardholders.
“Tasco 10x42 binoculars feature clear optics with high magnification,” said Coates. "These binoculars are excellent for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. They also function well in low-light conditions for astronomy and stargazing."
The kits can be borrowed for seven days and can not be renewed.
The library recently announced cardholders could also borrow walking poles.
Seasonal day-use permits for Ontario Parks, pedometers, GPS units and snowshoes during the winter months are also available.
Kits can be reserved on the library's website or by visiting one of the county's 25 library branches.
