Cruise in the Park turns 30 this weekend

Hundreds of classic cars will be on display Sunday at Canatara Park.

It's the Sarnia Street Machines 30th annual Cruise in the Park on June 25.

Spokesperson Kip McMillan said they're hoping for 700 vehicles this year.

"Anything can be a classic car," said McMillan. "Whatever is special to you, is special to us. Most notable there was a gentleman that brought in a motorhome last year and he was giving tours."

Vehicle admission is $15 and walk-in admission is by donation. Funds raised will benefit Pathways Health Centre for Children.

"Pathways has been our charitable partner for several years now," said McMillan. "They've been amazing, they get volunteers, they help us out, they sort out a lot of things like the 50/50 and every dollar they get helps a lot, helps a local kid."

McMillan said  there will also be live music, food and other vendors on site.

Cruise in the Park is on from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Further details are available here.
