A two-vehicle collision in St. Clair Township was reported at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 23. OPP said the collision involved a commercial vehicle.
Lambton OPP said one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The section of Highway 40 was closed for most of the day for the investigation.
OPP said they will not be releasing the driver's identity.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
