The agency said general rainfall mounts will vary between 30 mm and 50 mm, but some areas could get up to 100 mm.
Some parts of the region could get localized flooding.
So far, it hasn't issued any rainfall warnings, but a special weather statement warned those could be coming.
The statement is in effect until Sunday night.
