Sarnia police have released surveillance photos as they investigate two separate break and enters early Friday morning.
Officers were first called to a business on Vidal Street North near Cromwell Street at around 5:20 a.m.
Police said surveillance video showed a suspect exit a vehicle, and smash a window in order to gain access to the business. Once inside, a cash register and two tool kits were removed. The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, jacket, pants, and gloves.
The suspect left the area with another individual, however, police said a description of the second suspect was unavailable at this time.
The vehicle is believed to be a sport utility vehicle [SUV] with plastic covering a broken rear window. An empty cash register drawer was located by a resident in the area of Wellington Street and Russell Street afterward.
Police were then called to a business at the intersection of London Road and Murphy Road at around 5:40 a.m. Video surveillance there showed a male exit a motor vehicle, smash the front door glass window and enter the business.
Officers said the male was wearing a full face mask and dark clothing. A cash tray with a sum of money was taken, as well as lottery tickets.
Police said the male has a large grey tattoo covering the top of his left hand. It's believed the suspect vehicle was a small SUV, which was last seen travelling west on London Road.
