A fan favourite with the Sarnia Sting will be continuing his hockey career in the American Hockey League.
On Friday, the Toronto Marlies signed former Sting captain Nolan Dillingham to a one year AHL deal.
The hard hitting defenceman played 147 regular season games in a Sting uniform, putting up 9 goals and 23 assists and 143 penalty minutes.
Dillingham, a 21-year-old Mississauga, ON native, also added three goals and three helpers across 18 playoff contests.
He was the recipient of the 2022-23 Mickey Renaud Captain’s Trophy.
The over-ager will be too old to return to the Sarnia Sting lineup next season.
