Inclement weather has forced pipeline construction for the Dawn to Corunna Project to be delayed.
Work was originally planned to take place last week resulting in some area road closures, which instead will happen this week.
Enbridge Gas said Courtright Line will be closed between Waubuno Road and Telfer Road until Saturday, August 19, weather permitting.
However, the closure was extended to Monday, August 21 due to wet weather conditions.
The closure of Waubuno Road between Courtright Line and Moore Line has been extended and is tentatively expected to end on Friday, August 25.
Additionally, starting Tuesday, August 22, Moore Line will be closed from Tecumseh Road to Kimball Road.
Work on the $251 million Dawn to Corunna Project started on June 1.
It includes the construction of a new 36-inch diameter steel pipeline between the Corunna Compressor Station in St. Clair Township and the Dawn Operations Centre in the Township of Dawn-Euphemia.
Further road closures in the area are anticipated later this month and next.
