The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is reporting a recent bust at the Blue Water Bridge.
At around 5:30 p.m. on August 18, officers seized a 40 calibre handgun, a 12 round magazine and personal amounts of cannabis products.
In an email to Sarnia News Today, a CBSA spokesperson said "the CBSA must look at each event based on the unique circumstances of the specific case they are examining."
"We can tell you that the items were seized with no terms of release and that the individual faced penalties and was returned to the United States," they said.
The individual was a resident of the United States.
Further details surrounding the accused, and about specific charges were not provided.
