Rangers snap Sting win streak at three

The Sarnia Sting (6-4-0) fell 6-1 to the Rangers (8-3-0) in Kitchener Tuesday night, ending their winning streak at three.

The lone goal for Sarnia came midway through the third period by Zach Filak, his fifth goal of the season. Sting goaltender Nick Surzycia saved 23 of 29 shots.

Kitchener moves into sole possession of first place in the OHL Western Conference with the win.

The Sting get a couple days off before hosting the Windsor Spitfires on Friday. Puck drop is 7:05 p.m.
