Police have made an arrest in a five-month long drug trafficking investigation.
In August 2023, the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Division, along with the VICE Unit, launched an investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl in the city.
During the probe, officers seized 270 grams of fentanyl from a Napier Street home with a street value estimated at $47,250.
On Monday, February 12 Sarnia police arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the investigation.
Roderick Eugene Bressette is charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking, and careless storage of ammunition.
He was being held in custody and is set to appear for a bail hearing on Friday, February 16.
