There were a total of 28 permits issued by Sarnia city hall in February, down slightly from last year's pace.
A $3.17 million permit was issued for a warehouse addition to the existing Home Hardware Building Centre on London Road.
The monthly statistics also include a $750,000 permit for an agricultural addition at a London Line property.
The year-to-date total is over $8.86 million compared to $9.7 million in the first two months of 2023.
There were no permits issued last month for single-family homes, leaving the year-to-date total at one.
