The Sarnia Sting lost their final home game of the season to the Saginaw Spirit on Friday 4-2.
It was another sold out game for the Sting with over 4,600 fans at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
Sarnia started the scoring seven minutes into the first period with a goal from Mitch Young.
The Spirit then picked up momentum and scored nearly 12 minutes into the first, followed by a second goal just before the first frame came to an end for a 2-1 lead.
Late in the third period Easton Wainwright scored a second goal for the Sting.
Two of the Sting's players were named stars of the game, Cooper Way and Marko Sikic.
It was also announced that Nick Surzycia won the All Seasons Three Stars Cup.
The cup is awarded to the player with the most points throughout the three stars.
