Imperial City Brew House is celebrating another achievement at the Canadian Brewing Awards.
The Sarnia-based brewery recently won gold in the Herb and Spice Beer category for its raspberry ginger sour beer called "Lost In The Zone Part One."
"We are so incredibly proud of our talented team for continually crafting brews that not only keep our customers happy and refreshed, but gain national attention too," read a Facebook post. "It's a testament to their skill, creativity, and dedication to their craft."
This year's awards event was held in Hamilton, Ontario, and included 61 categories.
Other area breweries that were recognized are listed below:
- Sons Of Kent Brewing Co. in Chatham won gold and silver in the Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer category for "Mammoth" and "Double Barrel Scotch Ale".
- Anderson Craft Ales in London won silver in the Cream Ale category.
- Cowbell Brewing Co. in Blyth won bronze for their German Kolsch Style beer called "Absent Landlord" and silver for a North American Style Lager called "Shindig".
