Aamjiwnaang First Nation will showcase dancing and singing to honour the traditions of its ancestors this weekend.
The 61st annual Pow Wow is being held at Bear Park, at 1972 Virgil Avenue in Sarnia on June 22 and 23.
Gates open both days at 10 a.m. with a grand entry at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, and at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be traditional, fancy, jingle and grass dancing contests, in addition to drum competitions, and baby and tiny tots contests.
Admission is $10 for those between the ages of 13 and 54 and $5 for those between six and 12 years old. Children five and under, and individuals 55 and up are free.
