Boil water advisory for Kettle and Stony Point continues

A cautionary Boil Water Advisory remains posted for Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.

The advisory was first issued on June 24, 2024 due to a planned water main repair which resulted in zero pressure.

Repairs have been completed, however the advisory will remain in effect until two satisfactory water sample results are received.

In a social media post, the First Nation said the alert will continue over the weekend and to check for updates on Facebook.

Residents are advised to bring the water to a full boil for five minutes and cool before use.

It's encouraged you follow the boil water instruction for any water that may be ingested, through drinking, eating, bathing and personal grooming.
