An arrest has been made in a series of break and enters in Arkona.
Lambton OPP responded to a property on Townsend Line on July 31 for a report of a break and enter, and members of the OPP Forensic Identification Service (FIS) processed evidence located at the scene.
Police said members of both the Lambton and Essex County Community Street Crime Units assisted with the investigation and a search warrant was executed at a residence on Townsend Line, near Hickory Creek Line.
It's alleged investigators located stolen property from the initial break and enter, as well as property reported stolen from two previous incidents in April.
A 28-year-old Arkona man is charged with three counts of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court in September.
Meanwhile, Lambton OPP said if anyone has any information regarding suspicious vehicles or people that could assist with the investigation, you're asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
