Military vehicles will travel along Sarnia-Lambton roadways on Wednesday, August 14, as members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) travel to the United States to participate in training exercises.
A public service announcement (PSA) said members from 31 Canadian Brigade Group will travel surrounding roadways, including 400-series and 20-series highways.
Residents may notice armoured vehicles, troop-carrying trucks, and smaller utility vehicles.
Public Affairs Officer Lt. Paul Verheye said 31 Canadian Brigade Group is headquartered in London and has over 1,800 members across southwestern Ontario.
"Most of these soldiers are Army Reservists, and many of them are preparing to deploy overseas on international stability operations with Canadian partners and allies in various regions," read the PSA.
Members of the public have been asked to take extra caution when approaching military vehicles. Measures are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to travelers.
It was not specified what time of day soldiers would be travelling Sarnia-Lambton roadways.
