Three people have been arrested after an alleged abduction in Sarnia.
City police said officers were called to the area of Kathleen Avenue and Walnut Avenue Friday.
Police quickly located the victim and began a coordinated investigation.
Investigators said the victim had allegedly been taken by force to a nearby apartment complex, where they were restrained, assaulted and threatened with a handgun.
On Saturday, members of the Emergency Response Team, Operations Division and Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at the apartment complex.
Police said during the search, Sarnia Police Service Dog Vader discovered a quantity of illegal drugs leading to additional charges.
Shane Robinson- Young, Ethan Hawke and April Rathmell are charged with kidnapping while using certain firearms- confined and robbery using a restricted or prohibited firearm.
Robinson-Young is facing additional charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault, assault with a weapon, use of a firearm while committing an offence, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, uttering threats- cause death or bodily hard, pointing a firearm and possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Rathmell is also facing an additional charge of assault.
The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
