UPDATE: Snow squall warning ends, blowing snow still expected

A band of heavy flurries is expected to move through the area Monday.

Environment Canada said westerly winds gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour will result in blowing snow into the afternoon.

A brief yellow snow squall warning was issued for Sarnia-Lambton Monday morning, and ended before noon.

Yellow alerts are the most common according to Environment Canada and indicate hazardous weather may cause damage, disruption, or health impacts. Impacts are moderate, localized, and/or short-term.
