One person was injured in a fire at a home on Davis Street.
Sarnia Fire Rescue was called to the residence shortly after 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, for reports of a structure fire.
On scene, crews were advised that although most members of the household had safely escaped, one occupant was unaccounted for.
Firefighters encountered smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the single-family home and quickly initiated a search of the residence while fighting the fire.
It was determined that no one remained inside the structure.
The missing occupant was later located in the backyard and was treated on scene for burn injuries and smoke inhalation before being taken to local hospital.
