Pathways announces retirement of CEO Alison Morrison

Pathways Health Centre for Children has announced the retirement of Chief Executive Officer Alison Morrison.

Morrison has been with Pathways for 28 years, first coming to the organization as a Speech-Language Pathologist in 1998.

“We have appreciated Alison’s thoughtful and caring leadership,” Board Chair Alison Mahon said in a news release. “She has put her heart and soul into Pathways, and with her team, she has created an organization that continues to adapt and look at strategies to grow and continually meet the needs of children and families. We wish Alison all the best in the next stage of her life.”

Over the more than two and a half decades of work with pathways, Morrison and the staff received several recognitions, including Accreditation with Exemplary Standing and the Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards for “Cool Place to Work” and “Non-Profit of the Year”.

“I carry a deep sense of pride in the work of Pathways. It has been a privilege to be part of such a skilled, dedicated and compassionate team. Together, we have navigated complexity, grown our impact, and strengthened the care we provide. While I look forward with excitement to what is ahead for me, I am also excited to see how this organization will continue to grow, innovate, and deliver excellent care into the future,” Morrison said.

The Board is working with a search partner to support the recruitment of the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer.
