Lambton Public Health is asking for help following a dog bite incident in Sarnia on Wednesday morning.
At around 10 a.m. on August 19, a victim was bitten on Devine Street, across from Food Basics.
Public health officials need to track down the animal to verify its health status. Otherwise, the victim will have to undergo a series of post-exposure rabies shots.
The dog is described as a medium-to-large brown dog with black markings, resembling a Cane Corso.
At the time of the incident, it was being walked by a man who appeared to be in his 20s or 30s with brown hair, wearing a baseball cap.
