The Sarnia Sting lost a 7-3 game against the Wolves in Sudbury on Friday.
The Wolves scored a 2-0 lead in the first period and followed up with another two goals early in the second. Jacob Stos scored for Sarnia 5:54 into the second frame, but Sudbury answered with one of their on at 10:49.
Theo Calvas scored Sarnia's second goal of the night to make it 5-2 going into the third, and the Sting kicked off the final period with Jordan Kyrou scoring 28 seconds in. However, the Wolves managed to get two more unanswered goals before the buzzer to cap off their win.
Sudbury also outshot Sarnia 38-29.
The Sting are in Barrie to take on the Colts on Saturday at 7:30pm.
