GOJHL Notes for February 23

The London Nationals beat Strathroy 4-3 Wednesday night.

Watford's Matthew Stevens scored a shorthanded tally, his eighth goal of the season.

Elsewhere, LaSalle beat St Marys 4-1. With the victory, the Vipers secure first place in the Western Conference with the victory, meaning they will avoid a match up with London and Chatham until the Western Conference Finals. London's win has them two points back of Chatham for second in the Western Conference, but the Maroons do have a game in hand. Both teams are in action tonight. Lambton Shores welcomes London out in Forest, while Sarnia hosts Chatham in their final home game of the regular season.

The Predators will miss the playoffs while the Legionnaires will finish fifth, setting up a first round match up with fourth place Leamington. The Flyers host Leamington tonight.
