Fresh off their first round victory over Ripley, the Petrolia Squires get set for their second round opponent.
It will be the first time Petrolia plays Mapleton-Minto this season. The 81's needed seven games to beat Tillsoburg in their first round match up.
Former Sarnia Legionnaire Jesse Drydak has been a bright spot for the Squires this post season. He's second in team scoring with five goals and four assists in five games. He had 15 point in 15 games during the regular season.
He's no stranger to scoring, in his final season with the Legionnaires he scored 39 goals and 80 points in 50 games. It was his third straight season with 60 or more points.
Drydak, in his third season with the Squires, also suited up for the Sarnia Sting for nine games during his junior hockey career.
The Squires open the series Friday night in Palmerston. The full second round schedule can be found HERE.
