North Lambton's Olivia Freer won gold in midget girls long jump with a leap of 5.16m. Paige Vrolyk, a student at St Pat's, won bronze in junior girls triple jump. Vrolyk was in second for most of the competition until the final round when she slipped down to third. She jumped an impressive 11.04m.
Northern's Matt Boyce finished fifth in mens discus throw with a toss of 53.79m.
