The Alvinston Aces had their bats going in a 16-6 over Highgate Thursday night.
The Aces took advantage of the Highgate team that was a bit short staffed.
Rowan Lam hit a pair of home runs, while Ryan Chapman and Brennan Feasey both went deep as well. Lam finished the game with five RBI's, while Chapman chipped in with three., and Jamie Shields two.
Cole Pavey started on the mound for the Aces, who was later relieved by Taylor Degraw. Degraw picked up the victory, allowing one run and three hits during three innings of work.
The win improves Alvinston's record to 7-1 in St. Thomas and District Men's Fastball League play. They are off until next Thursday, they host Glencoe on June 15th.
