Cattlebarons Win Fourth Straight

The Wyoming Cattlebarons won their fourth straight game in Western Counties Senior Baseball League (WCSBL) action Tuesday night, beating Courtright 14-1.

Matt McGrail led the way offensively with a three hit night, picking up a pair of doubles and scoring three runs. Travis Helps had four RBI's on a pair of hits and Justin Grift hit his first home run of the season.

Mitch Robb was great on the mound for the Cattlebarons, allowing just four hits in the complete game victory.

Grant Mullen's home run was the lone bright spot for the Cardinals offensively, he also recorded two of their four hits.

After losing to the Forest Dragons on May 28th, the Cattlebarons have now won four straight. They hope to continue their winning ways Wednesday night with a match up against the Petrolia Raiders. The two teams should be familiar with one another, having played their only match up of the season on Sunday. The Cattlebarons won that contest 9-8.

Wyoming's record is 7-1 on the season, good for fourth place in the WCSBL standings. Petrolia is in sixth place with a 2-6 record.
