The Sarnia Sting have made personnel changes to the Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager positions. The team has hired Mark Packwood as the new Athletic Therapist, and he has plenty of experience. Packwood has spent time with Hockey Canada, serving as the lead therapist for Team White during the most recent Under-17 Championships. He's also worked at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic in London. Packwood is no stranger to the Ontario Hockey League either, having played four years in the league with the Kitchener Rangers and Oshawa Generals. The goalie played briefly at Brock University while earning an honours bachelor degree in Kinesiology. He then went to Western University where he completed his Master's in Physiotherapy. He is currently completing a second Master’s in Clinical Science (Manipulative Therapy) at Western University. The Sting have also added Spencer Stehouwer as the team's new equipment manager. He was previously the Head Equipment Manager for the GOJHL's London Nationals, and was the Assistant Equipment Manager with the Western Mustangs men's hockey team.
