Drake Rymsha scored two goals and an assist for the Sting with singles going to Jordan Ernst and Adam Ruzicka.
Aiden Hughes started in goal for Sarnia allowing 2 goals on 17 shots while Blair Coffin gave up 5 goals on 15 shots.
The Sting host the Knights Saturday at 7pm. Admission is $10.
In other games Winsdor edged Flint 4-3, North Bay clipped Kitchener 4-3 and Hamilton doubled Guelph 4-2.
