Sarnia bars ready for Raptor-mania

So you decided not to spend your savings on Raptors' tickets for the NBA Finals? That's OK, a pair of Sarnia sports bars have the next best thing.

Big screen TVs, Raptors swag, and an atmosphere rivaling Toronto's "Jurassic Park" will be featured at Stoke's Inland Grill & Bar and Gateway Casino's Match Eatery throughout the final.

Terry Slowka at Stoke's said they're expecting a full house for each game at their Lambton Mall Road location.

"Well we got quite the vibe going-- our six big screen TVs will all have the game on with full volume, we got the bar decorated with "WE THE NORTH" flags, we got some prizes from Molson, all the servers are in Raptors gear-- yeah, we're looking forward to an exciting final."

Food and Beverage Manager at Gateway Joe Lackan said you'll want to come early to guarantee you get a seat.

"We have two TV walls, we'll have the sound going-- it's definitely going to be a party atmosphere," said Lackan. "We're going to have some great specials, we're giving away some Raptors swag. As the Raptors have made it further and further, it just keeps getting busier and louder here."

Game one between the Raptors and Golden State Warriors tips off at 9 p.m. Thursday night.
