Once again Sarnia let an early lead get away from them as the Greyhounds rallied for a 4-2 home-ice victory extending the Sting's losing streak to a season-tying seven games.
Ryan Roth (17) scored for Sarnia four minutes into the opening period followed by Ryan McGregor's (14) goal at the 10:42 mark.
Two minutes later Tanner Dickenson scored for the Greyhounds on the power play with Billy Constaninou tying the game 63 seconds later.
After a scoreless second period the Soo would take the lead on Rory Kerins' game-winning goal 5:38 into the third.
An empty-netter from Tye Kartye would seal the victory.
The win was the Hounds' seventh in their last ten games and moves them six points up on Sarnia for the last playoff spot in OHL West Division.
Bailey Brkin stopped 18 of 20 Sting shots while the Greyhounds peppered 47 shots at Ethan Langevin, named second star of the game.
Langevin said Sarnia must stop letting leads disappear.
"It's tough to have a lead like that and quickly throw it away only to lose the game in the end. It's something that we really need to address before it gets out of hand."
The Sting conclude the weekend in Saginaw Sunday at 5:35 p.m.
Langevin said "We need the two points tomorrow if we want to have a chance to get back in this playoff race. We're kind of digging ourselves a hole right now and tomorrow's a huge game for us and hopefully we get the win."

Saturday night the Spirit pummeled Oshawa 8-4 for their eighth win in the last ten games.
They are second in the West Division, two points behind Windsor who edged Sudbury 3-2.
