Four Sting players on Central Scouting's 'Players to Watch' list

Four Sarnia Sting players are included in NHL Central Scouting's "Players to Watch" list ahead of the 2021 NHL draft.

Ty Voit, Ryan Mast, and Nolan Dann are each listed as "C" level prospects, meaning they're projected to be taken in either the fourth, fifth or sixth rounds.

Voit scored eight goals and added 20 assists in 49 games in his rookie season in 2019-20, while Mast had a goal and 10 assists in 58 games.

Dann was held off the scoresheet in his only game with the Sting, but put up 48 points in 52 games with the OJHL's Georgetown Raiders.

Goalie Ben Gaudreau is one of just seven OHL goalies in the mix. He was given a "B" rating, and could be chosen in rounds two or three.

He posted a 10-13-2 record with a 4.34 GAA and .890 save percentage this past season.

Four players, Daniil Chayka (GUE), Brandt Clarke (BAR), Mason McTavish (PBO), and Francesco Pinelli (KIT) were given "A" ratings and are expected to be first round selections.

A total of 52 players with OHL ties made the list.

The 2021 NHL draft is currently scheduled for July 23 and 24.
