Sting beat Ottawa in shootout

The Sarnia Sting got to say yeehaw with a win against the Ottawa 67's at home Friday on country night.

The Sting won 5-4 in a shootout.

Tyson Doucette kicked off the scoring for Sarnia six minutes into the first period.

Alessandro Di Iorio, Ruslan Karimov and Zach Filak also scored for the Sting.

Ottawa outshot Sarnia throughout the game 46-28.

Sarnia has Saturday night off before hosting the Barrie Colts Sunday afternoon.

Puck drop is at 2 p.m. The game can be heard live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).
