Police are investigating after a single-vehicle crash in Amherstburg sent three people to hospital.
The Amherstburg Police Service says on Friday around 6pm, the driver of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck lost control and rolled into a ditch on Essex County Rd. 9.
Police say the 19-year-old driver was ejected during the crash and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two other male passengers were taken to hospital as well for an assessment.
Essex County Rd. 9 was closed for a few hours following the crash between North Side Rd. and Essex County Rd. 8, while emergency crews were at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
