Town council meets Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a public meeting on January 27. Council is expected to adopt the budget document at that time.
The property tax increase amounts to an extra $48.50 on the average home assessed at $250,000 and does not include the county or education portion of property taxes.
