The City of Windsor's debt rating has been re-affirmed as "AA".
Standard & Poor's Rating Services credits the city's "low debt burden, exceptional liquidity, strong budgetary performance and strong financial management." It gave the city a stable outlook noting the city's tax-supported debt burden should continue to decline over the next two years.
Mayor Drew Dilkens is pleased.
"It serves as one more signal that staying our course of financial prudence if paying off," he says.
